Here are just some of the websites created by the purple lemon in the last
ten years. Click

Real Circumstance
The homepage of an exciting theatre group founded in 2005.
Maintenance of the site was to initially be taken over by a semi-skilled computer user, so the design had to be easy to edit at a later date, but also imaginative and eye-catching - this the purple lemon provided...
.
..and in 2007 real circumstance came back to us and ultimately became the first customer to make use of our 'Total
Web Management' service. After transferring their site to our high-end server, a redesign took place that required our skilled team to maintain it, which we do to this day.

Nothing at The End of the Lane

The official website of the popular Doctor Who magazine. The editors had requested a b/w website designed in the style of production documentation.
Never to be put off by what could potentially be a "dull" brief, the purple lemon created one of their most innovative sites yet.

The Blue Spot

The website of the purple lemon's associate photographer,
Katharine Nye, aka the blue spot. the purple lemon also handle updating
and maintenance as part of our excellent Total Web Management service.

Pot8Ball
Pool champion Morray 'Fly-Mo' Dolan needed a website that matched the quality of his sporting prowess, and the purple lemon leapt on the opportunity to
represent his work online. Pot8Ball features videos showcasing his talents, and
an online 'blog', where Morray can update his fans on the latest news without
any web coding on his part!

WivenhoeLets
A nice clean design encouraging the students of Essex University to take up
residence in houses around the local town of Wivenhoe. With students relying
increasingly on the internet for goods and services, this site will become the
primary source of new business for local Landlords.

Rachel (CD
cover)
In 2006 the purple lemon were commissioned to design covers for fresh young artist Rachel Powell, currently releasing music through Megropolis1Productions Ltd. Rachel's unique voice needed a dynamic and original series of designs to compliment it, and the purple lemon once again rose to the challenge.
Doctor Who Sites
In his spare time, the purple lemon's chief designer Matt also spearheads a number of highly successful websites dedicated to his favourite show,
Doctor Who.
Although technically unpaid 'work', he uses this downtime to hone his skills, and some fantastic work can be seen across the following locations:
www.whoniverse.co.uk A leap page to the "real" sites, this central point contains a collection of newsfeeds presenting the latest information from a variety of sources, free rare online videos and more!
www.millenniumeffect.co.uk
One of the biggest Doctor Who websites in existence, TME has been running since 1998 and now features a beautiful new design by the purple lemon, integrating a flash banner scrolling through the history of the Doctor Who logos and an image of current doctor David Tennant actually made up from two different publicity photos.
www.torchwoodguide.co.uk A "contender for the title of best fan site" (Inside The Hub, Stephen James Walker, 2007), this was the world's first online episode guide dedicated to BBC3 spinoff series
Torchwood. Its breathtaking design was another high point for the purple lemon, matching the wealth of information within.
www.sarahjaneguide.co.uk
Following up from torchwoodguide, the purple lemon also designed this site for the
children's spinoff 'The Sarah Jane Adventures', described by one fan as "better than the official site", but we don't like to brag about such things. the clean, stylised design was, however, a new route for matt and the purple lemon team, and one that came out splendidly.
I can highly recommend the purple lemon.
Matt's design of the Real Circumstance website was done with the perfect mixture of following our design ideas and his own creative input (which always impressed us and matched with what we wanted).
Matt is also an incredibly flexible and accommodating designer, always willing to make last minute changes, and make additions to the site when they suddenly became necessary to us. we couldn't have had a better experience of website design, and we are absolutely delighted with the work he has done for us.

Anna Bewick,
Real Circumstance
When Matt spotted the provisional cover for our latest CD release seemed wrong for the style, he pitched a new design.
As his idea reflected the album much more greatly and gave an instant visual impact,
I was keen to use his design instead. Having been aware of Matt's work for some time and pleased with what he has done on this cover,
I've now requested his help on another important release, and look forward to working with him in future.
